Men's Artistic Gymnastics 

(MAG)

A discipline of gymnastics where male athletes perform routines on six apparatuses: floor, pommel horse, still rings, vault table, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. It emphasizes strength, flexibility, agility, and coordination.

Women's Artistic Gymnastics

(WAG)

A discipline of gymnastics where female athletes perform routines on four apparatuses: vault table, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. It focuses on agility, grace, coordination, and strength.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

A discipline performed only by female athletes, characterized by the use of apparatuses such as ribbons, hoops, balls, clubs, and ropes. It combines elements of ballet, dance, and gymnastics in routines that emphasize grace, flexibility, coordination, and expression.

Aerobic Gymnastics

A competitive sport that combines high-intensity aerobic dance movements with traditional gymnastic skills. It is performed individually or in groups and emphasizes strength, flexibility, coordination, and complex high-energy routines set to music.

Acrobatic Gymnastics


Acrobatic Gymnastics is a dynamic and captivating discipline that combines strength, flexibility, and agility with spectacular acrobatic elements. In Acrobatic Gymnastics, gymnasts work in pairs or groups to perform routines that include balances, dynamic throws, and synchronized choreography.

Parkour

Parkour is the art of efficiently and fluidly moving from one point to another, originating from street culture. Initially developed as a training method, it has evolved to inspire various sporting events and action movies, gaining a substantial following. Gymnasts utilize techniques such as the cat leap, arm jump, drop jump, and wall run to overcome these obstacles. The events are divided into Speed and Freestyle categories. In Speed, athletes aim to navigate obstacles quickly to reach the finish line in the shortest time, while in Freestyle, they showcase their style and creativity while being judged on technical performance.
